Therapy Specialties

Therapy Modalities

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)

    • EMDR is a trauma therapy that supports the brain and nervous system in processing painful or distressing memories. It uses bilateral stimulation—like eye movements or tapping—to help resolve symptoms related to anxiety, trauma, and deeply held emotional experiences, so they no longer feel overwhelming.

  • Gestalt-Informed Therapy

    • This approach encourages awareness of the present moment while helping you understand how the past is still living in your body and relationships. We’ll use techniques that support dual awareness, emotional regulation, and secure attachment—all designed to help you tolerate distress, connect with calm, and cultivate resilience.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

    • IFS helps you get to know the different “parts” of yourself—like the perfectionist, the inner child, or the protective voice inside your head. These parts hold wisdom and pain from your lived experiences. IFS invites compassion toward these parts, fostering more understanding and less internal conflict.

  • Brainspotting

    • This somatic-based therapy taps into the brain-body connection by locating points in your visual field that correlate with stored emotional experiences. Brainspotting helps access and release trauma, often below the level of conscious thought, and is particularly useful for clients who feel stuck or have difficulty verbalizing their experience.

Helping you connect the dots of your past, connect to calm in the present, & connect with hope for the future.

Your life up to now hasn’t been easy, but you’ve managed to make it into young adulthood nonetheless. When people look at your resume or transcripts, they may assume that things have been smooth-sailing, but you know your experience has been far from it—and at this point, you’re exhausted from keeping up with everything. Maybe something happened in your childhood or more recently, that continues to affect you, no matter how hard you’ve tried to “get over it”.

You’re realizing that the awareness you have about the negative patterns in your life and where they come from isn’t enough. Or you’re curious to learn more. You need to know what to do with that information and how you can start actually feeling better.

That’s what I want to offer you, along with a space where you can be fully yourself and speak your mind without fear of judgment. And if there are feelings or reactions you have that you’re not quite sure the origin of, I’m happy to help you figure those out, too. In all the work we’ll do together, you’ll lead the way, and I’ll share any information or insights I think might be helpful as I walk beside you. I believe therapy should be something you look forward to, so we’ll go at whatever pace feels comfortable for you and bring in humor and levity when we can. While the work may sometimes be challenging, my hope is that, through it all, you experience real results.

One of my favorite parts of this work is getting to know and connect with clients. It is such a pleasure and a privilege to be trusted to partner with them on this journey and watch them grow into their most authentic selves through our time together.

If there’s one thing I want you to take away from reading this, it’s that regardless of what you’ve been through or are going through, there is hope. There is a future where you feel less anxious, more in touch with yourself, and have healthier relationships throughout your life. It would be an honor to support you in getting there.

Helping you make sense of where you’ve been, who you are now, and where you want to go.

Your 20’s are full of figuring things out—and that can feel exciting, overwhelming, or somewhere in between. You might be asking yourself big questions: Who am I apart from what’s expected of me? Why do I react the way I do in relationships? What do I want my life to actually feel like?

Maybe you’ve done a lot of reflecting on your past—your family, your relationships, your experiences—but still feel unsure about what to do with all of that insight. Or maybe you're just beginning to notice patterns that feel hard to break. Either way, you’re not alone. Therapy with me isn’t about having everything figured out—it’s about creating a space where you can be curious, honest, and real as you start to piece things together.

In our work together, we’ll move at your pace. Whether you’re processing something from your past or trying to get a better handle on your present, I’ll walk alongside you—bringing insights, tools, and support that meet you where you are. My goal isn’t to give you a checklist for being “better,” but to help you understand yourself more deeply so you can feel more grounded, confident, and connected in your life.

Those who do the most growing in this life are those who offer the most compassion to the parts of themselves that have not yet grown.

How I Help, As Your Dallas, TX Therapist

My therapeutic approach is person-centered and strengths-based, meaning the client leads the conversation, feels supported without judgment, and gets feedback, suggestions, and guidance that’s tailored to their unique strengths. Combining these approaches allows clients to feel empowered, accepted, and valued by being themselves.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas in Dallas. Since then, I’ve worked in inpatient, nonprofit, and private practice settings, and am currently working on obtaining a doctorate degree. My past work experience includes counseling individuals who have experienced trauma from childhood, emotional abuse, sexual abuse, violence, and trafficking.

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me…

Outside exploring—on a trail, near water, or in the middle of a quiet moment, watching birds during migration season. I enjoy learning and slowing down enough to notice what makes things unique. Whether I’m hiking, birdwatching, or sitting down to have coffee with someone, connection and curiosity are a core component of it.
