Experience and Expertise

Hannah is dedicated to creating an empathetic, inviting, and safe space where clients feel supported as they navigate their therapeutic journey. She received her M.A. in Professional Counseling at Dallas  Baptist University and previously earned her B.A. in Music Business there in 2018.  Hannah worked and gained experience within the community mental health setting before joining the White Rock Therapy team.

Hannah considers it an honor to walk alongside clients in their pursuit of healing and personal growth. With deep respect for each individual’s unique story and lived experiences, Hannah works primarily with adults and college-aged individuals. Her areas of focus include trauma and stressor-related disorders, anxiety-related disorders,  PTSD, depression, dissociation, grief, low self-esteem, and family of origin issues. She has a particular passion for working with clients who have experienced trauma,  including those with histories of childhood abuse or sexual abuse.

Therapeutic Approach

Hannah integrates both cognitive and somatic techniques in her work, aiming to create space for intellectual, emotional, and bodily awareness. Hannah incorporates different modalities in therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through a trauma-informed lens, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and somatic experiencing techniques. By combining these modalities, she helps clients explore the connection between thoughts, feelings, and lived experiences through mind-body awareness, fostering holistic change and healing.

Hannah’s therapeutic approach is informed by the following foundations:

  • Trauma-Informed Approach: Emphasizes safety within the therapeutic relationship,  honors the client’s journey and past experiences, and explores the mind-body  connection and impact of trauma.

  • Client-Centered: Emphasizes the client’s natural ability to grow and heal. Through a supportive and compassionate therapeutic relationship, clients feel safe to explore and engage in their therapeutic journey toward positive change and growth.

  • Holistic and Experiential: Treatment that encompasses the whole person and includes exploring connections between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and embodied experiences.

Whether clients are meeting with Hannah in person in Dallas or connecting through online therapy across Texas, her gentle presence and thoughtful approach creates a space where healing feels possible. Hannah’s ability to blend empathy, insight, and practical tools helps clients untangle the impact of their past and move toward a more grounded and empowered way of living.
