Consultation for Clinicians (U.S. location) Dallas & Online Across Texas
Transformative healing, on your terms. (EMDR and Dissociation consultation)
Sometimes, painful memories or negative beliefs about ourselves get “stuck” in our brains and bodies making it difficult to move forward.
Maybe you know exactly what occurred in your past that’s making day-to-day life so difficult—a singular or ongoing traumatic experience that impacts how you manage your daily responsibilities or engage in relationships. Or, maybe you’re not quite sure what’s causing you to feel how you do, you just know you’re struggling to cope and are ready to find relief and experience real change.
You may have heard of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy—a method that helps bridge both sides of your brain through bilateral stimulation to re-process difficult experiences and reduce their emotional impact—but aren’t sure how a treatment like this could fit into your life.
EMDR intensives offer support to those who may be unable to fit weekly sessions into their schedule. If you’re a busy parent, someone who travels regularly, or a working professional with little time to spare—these concentrated and focused treatment sessions can be tailored to suit your lifestyle.
How are emdr intensives different from regular emdr sessions?
EMDR Intensives…
Can add up to less time and overall cost than ongoing weekly sessions, due to their concentrated nature
Occur over the course of 1-4 days, either in a row or over 2 weekends depending on your needs
Are personalized to support your preferred schedule and goals
Can be done in half-day (3 hour) sessions, or full-day (6 hour) sessions, each of which will include breaks throughout
Ready to find real relief?
Intensives can help you feel better, fast.
What To Expect
1
Get in touch & explore your options
Once you’ve reached out via our contact form, a member of our team will get in touch with you to go over the various intensive options we offer. They’ll provide you information about the cost associated with each treatment plan, and what scheduling options are available.
Then, you’ll be matched with a qualified therapist (unless you have a specific therapist you’d like to request) and scheduled for a pre-consultation interview to assess if an EMDR intensive is the best fit for your needs. During this interview, we’ll also begin discussing potential goals for your treatment.
2
Get treatment tailored to you
Before your intensive sessions begin, you’ll be given a customized workbook by your therapist. This will explain the process of EMDR, provide resources, and help you explore your treatment goals in-depth. You will have at least a month to complete this workbook before sessions begin.
In the actual sessions, your therapist will guide you through the processes needed to achieve the goals you’ve set, and be beside you throughout this journey. The treatment you receive will be completely customized to you, and you’ll work with your therapist as a collaborator in your own healing. Depending on your needs, treatment will involve using EMDR, as well as potentially exploring somatic work or equine therapy.
3
Get ready for a brighter future
After your intensive sessions are over, your therapist will follow up to review and assess your progress with you. In a 50-minute “integration” session, you’ll learn how to bring the things that were covered in your intensives into your life moving forward.
When all is said and done, you’ll be able to find freedom from traumatic memories, learn more effective coping strategies that are useful for your everyday life, and take strides toward the personal growth you crave—all in a condensed period of time and without distractions.
It’s time to make peace with the past.
Reclaim your future by reaching out today.

White Rock Therapy’s clinicians are licensed to practice therapy in the state of Texas. That being said, you are welcome to sign up for an intensive if one of our clinicians resonates with you - no matter where you live - as long as you are staying in Texas at the time of your treatment. If you’re interested in an online intensive, it’s a little more complicated if you live outside of Texas at the time you wish to receive treatment. Clients who want to engage in an online intensive outside of Texas must reside in Texas for more than half of the year, as this is the standard by which residency is established. If you’re unsure whether you can engage in intensive therapy at our Dallas, TX-based therapy office or virtually, contact us for more information.

Yes! You can always explore traditional weekly sessions, or request extended therapy (2-3 hour weekly sessions) as an alternative to intensive therapy.
